Finchley Catholic High School - Kitchen Refurbishment
Finchley Catholic High School is a school with a proud history dating back to 1926.
Recently, funds were raised to allow for extensive building, refurbishment and mechanical & electrical upgrade works to be carried out.
The project was for the complete catering kitchen refurbishment which is located on the ground floor of the Fisher Building. These works included but not limited to a complete strip out back to substrate, replacement of all catering equipment specifically designed for the schools’ requirements and number of students. New flooring, ceilings, mechanical and electrical upgrade including ventilation and fire suppression system, staff toilet and changing rooms upgrades.
Kitchen areas consisted of: wash up area, food preparation area, cookline area, 2nd food preparation area, walk in cold store and freezer, refrigerated counter, dry stores and servery area.
Works were completed for the Westminster Roman Catholic Diocese Trustee over a contract period of 18 weeks that consistent of a pre-construction design development of 4 weeks, procurement and mobilisation phase of 4 weeks and 10 week construction phase.
