St Annes & Guardian Angels School
When St Anne’s and Guardian Angels amalgamated in September 2020, they were promised funding from the LA to improve the layout of the school. These were delayed for over a year due to the pandemic. The remodelling of Reception classroom, increasing the size of the two 1year classrooms, relocating the two Year 2 classrooms (Y4 and Y3 into 2 larger Year 3 classrooms with a new toilet block. The whole school is also being rewired. The LA are working very closely with the Diocese who has also agreed to invest in this project
Building works consisted of Fire compartmentation works, new fire doors, Kitchen roller shutter, Front Entrance works, new fire alarm systems complete electrical re-wire and the remodelling of the classrooms.
Works continued at a great pace even though there was driver shortages and supply shortages but works progressed well with Phase 2 the re-wiring which was completed in November
